What is an IDO?
The evolution of cryptocurrency has enabled projects to make use of the blockchain to raise funds through token sales to the general public in exchange for other cryptocurrencies. An Initial DEX offering (IDO) is when a project launches a token through a decentralized liquidity exchange (i.e. QuickSwap). In the same way that traditional startups receive venture capital before launching, projects issuing initial DEX offerings receive financing from individual contributors.
Why is there 500 BILLION in total supply of SKYLOCKR?
Our SKYLOCKRCOIN smart contract is a layer 2 Polygon standard ERC20 token contract without a mint-able token function. This means supply is basically limited and will never add to total supply. BUT this is different from circulating supply. SKYLOCKR is only added to the circulating supply of our QuickSwap market with paired ETH into the central Liquidity Pool. Overtime as the project develops and liquidity is continuously increased, more SKYLOCKR will be able to be appropriately introduced into our swap market with paired liquidity.
What happens at launch with the current QuickSwap SKYLOCKR price and fixed SKYLOCKR IDO being released?
As long as we enter the new $ SKYLOCKR into the market without creating unnecessary distribution, we will try to keep our current swap market value. It is necessary to prevent a sell-off or overwhelming sell-pressure to not drain the liquidity from the user side. We can continuously increase outlook for each token through introducing a steady stream of SKYLOCKR into the market with paired $MATIC into the Liquidity Pool. This works in tandem with QuickSwaps’s ability to set price ranges for new liquidity and accepted transactions. This is what we currently refer to as the “drip” feature of our Web DApp. Through a “green-light selling system” we can utilize participants to drive volume through the swap market alongside our own algorithms with buy/sell logic. These will be available in the DApp before Launch Day.

Are the devs doing anything to combat the bots?
We have our own plan to keep the bots away from the QuickSwap launch but if you know blockchain you know that it’s impossible to control that in full.
What does ‘slippage’ mean?
Slippage is the amount of price difference you are willing to pay if the price increases between the time you click swap and the time it actually goes through. If you put for example 10% that means you are willing to still purchase even though the price has increased by 10%. If the price has not increased by 10% then you get whatever it is under that range.

What is an NFT?
NFT stands for “non-fungible token.” They are built on blockchain technology similar to “fungible” tokens such as Bitcoin or Ethereum; however, each NFT is unique and can be a one-of-a-kind “edition” or part of a limited Drop Each NFT is based on a unique identifying code, which can be used as a digital proof of ownership or “certificate of authenticity.”
Fungible? Non-Fungible? What does it all mean?
Fungible means interchangeable. As an example, a General Admission ticket to a festival is exactly the same as, and includes the same benefits of, another GA ticket. Non-fungible means it is NOT interchangeable, such as concert tickets with assigned seating. Each ticket has a unique seat number and location, and some tickets are more “rare” than others which usually mean they have more value.
Are NFTs bad for the environment?
NFTs “minted” on early generation blockchain networks potentially require a lot of energy due to the way “Proof Of Work” consensus algorithms work to validate transactions and protect the network. On other popular blockchains, it is estimated to take the equivalent electricity that powers a U.S. household for over 4.5 days to mint an NFT, and produces as much as 300 lbs in CO2 emissions.
In contrast, the SkyLockr platform utilizes the Polygon blockchain, a new generation blockchain operating on “Proof Of Stake” that is more than 2M times more energy efficient. It takes SkyLockr the equivalent energy of sending out a tweet to mint an NFT, and produces the CO2 emissions of less than the weight of a snowflake, making SkyLockr the “Green” NFT platform.
I’ve heard that NFTs are selling for millions of dollars. How can I afford an NFT?
Built on the Polygon blockchain, minting an NFT on SkyLockr is over 10,000 times less expensive than other platforms. SkyLockr further subsidizes the low transaction fees to offer $0 minting costs to its artist partners. In turn, this allows artists to price their NFTs in a way that fans and collectors at any level can afford, starting as low as $5, $1, even FREE.
What does owning an original SkyLockr NFT mean?
Owning an NFT on SkyLockr gives you extreme bragging rights and digital proof of ownership to an NFT media file, which could be a beautiful photo, artwork, or video from your favorite artist. In some cases, your NFT can unlock additional “vault content,” which may include items like a limited edition copy of a song or an unforgettable VIP experience.
As the owner of the NFT, you can enjoy all the perks that come with that NFT for as long as you hold the NFT, or you may choose to list it for sale on the SkyLockr marketplace.
What does “Minting” mean?
The process of tokenizing your work or asset on a blockchain and creating an NFT.
If I purchased an NFT from SkyLockr, does that mean I own the intellectual property (IP)?
Owning an NFT does not give you the underlying copyright of the NFT media file or any of the vault content. This means that you can enjoy these images, audio or video files for yourself, but you cannot commercially exploit them unless the file contains explicit permissions from the artist or IP rights holder.
What information is required to sign-up?
To create a SkyLockr account, you will need a valid email address and phone number. If you choose to purchase or bid on an NFT, you must verify your email and provide a payment method, such as a credit card or cryptocurrency.
If bidding with cryptocurrency, you will need to verify your identity prior to funding your account.
What are the steps for creating a new account?
To register on SkyLockr, please click “Sign Up” on the homepage and follow these steps: 1. Enter your mobile phone number and check for a special SMS with a six-digit code. 2. Enter this code when prompted on the following screen. 3. Choose a username and password and enter your email address. 4. Check your inbox and verify your account by clicking on the link in the welcome email. 5. You are now successfully registered. I never received the SMS text message with my code.
During signup, restart the signup process and re-enter your phone number. During login, click the “resend code” link at the bottom of the pop up window. If these actions do not resolve your issue, please contact Support.
What countries are currently supported?
SkyLockr currently supports users from 118 countries and regions and will continue to add more as quickly as possible. To see a full list of available countries, please click “sign up” on the top right of the site, or in the main menu, and select the phone country code dropdown.
Phone verification is required to augment security as well as to prevent fraud and bots. If your country is not currently supported, please send us a message using the “contact us” button below.
Are there age restrictions to sign-up for SkyLockr?
Yes, you must be at least 16 years old to use the site. If you’re under 16, you must submit a written and signed permission from your parent or guardian before account setup. Please send to support@SkyLockr.com.
I’m an international user. I entered my phone number but didn’t get an SMS code, what can I do?
SkyLockr uses Twilio to send SMS verification messages. The successful delivery of the message depends on the country and specific telecom providers. Please see the Twilio support center for the latest updates: https://support.twilio.com/hc/en-us Known issues have been reported for users in China and Vietnam. If you have experienced issues from another country, please send us a message using the “contact us” button below, including your country and mobile carrier/telecom so we can further investigate.
Protecting your login credentials and SMS verification code
Please protect your login credentials and access to the mobile phone where you receive your SMS verification code, as these control your SkyLockr account and your NFTs. The SkyLockr Support team will NEVER ask you for your password or SMS verification code. Additionally, be sure to get all official communications and updates directly from SkyLockr.com, or the official @SkyLockrNFT handles on Twitter, Instagram, or Discord.
Why are you asking for my phone number?
We require SMS 2-factor authentication as an extra layer of security to protect your account, as well as to prevent bots or fraudulent activity. In the future, you will have additional security options including use of an authenticator app.
What is a Day Zero’er?
You may have heard the phrase “I’ve been there since day one.” We’ve taken that concept to the next level. If you pre-registered to join before launch, you are a “Day Zero’er” and will receive a special NFT gift after launch and sign up.

Why do you need me to verify my email?
You must verify your email before making a purchase, placing a bid, or claiming a free NFT. You can resend the verification email by going to “My Account” and using the “Resend Verification Email” link. You may also update the email address for your account in the same location.
I do not live in the United States. Can I still sign-up and purchase NFTs?
SkyLockr is available in most countries and regions, with some specific exceptions. Please see our Terms of Service for all excluded countries or regions in which SkyLockr is not available.
Can I resale my NFTs on OpenSea?
OpenSea has recently announced they will be adding support for Polygon Tokens, which is the standard that SkyLockr NFTs are built on. However, currently, that feature has not been rolled out yet on OpenSea, so SkyLockr NFTs today is not compatible and cannot be listed for resale on OpenSea, yet. The good news is, SkyLockr “Marketplace” will be opening soon, and you will be able to list any of your SkyLockr NFTs for resale to any other members on the SkyLockr platform. What is SkyLockr?
SkyLockr is a new, NFT platform built specifically for the creators community and designed to break down economic barriers to entry. The platform serves to connect fans and collectors of any level with their favorite artists.
What to expect during the first 30 days of the soft launch?
After the pre-registration period, SkyLockr will be rolling out new features, and new NFT drops on an incremental basis over a period of approximately 30 days during our “soft launch.” Our mission is to welcome millions of “non-crypto native” users into the NFT and blockchain ecosystem, and we are doing so in gradual steps as follows: 1. Pre-registration opens for our earliest community. 2. The first collection of FREE NFTs will drop – claim 1 free every day, collect a set and unlock more rare NFTs or real-world experiences. 3. Early September (after Labor Day), the first collection of NFTs for purchase or bid will be available in 3 separate drops.

What are Drops? What are Collections?
Similar to when a musician drops and music tracks, an NFT Drop is when artists release one or more different editions of NFTs, typically tied to a common theme.
A Collection is a group of NFTs following a story arc, content evolution, or over-arching theme. A Collection can be made up of one or multiple Drops. An artist can release multiple Collections over time. SkyLockr designates each artist’s collection with a unique collection number, starting at “Genesis”, followed by “002”, “003” and so on.
When are new Drops?
Drops can happen at any time: daily, weekly, monthly, you name it! So, be sure to follow SkyLockr social channels and check back regularly to learn about the latest and greatest drops.
What do different NFT “Tiers” mean?
There are several different “Tiers” of NFTs available, in increasing rarity: Fan, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and SkyLockr. The rarity and content amongst NFTs in each tier varies.
What is a Fan tier NFT?
The most accessible tier that allows every day fans to get an NFT for FREE by taking an action to improve the community, or through making a donation to a top charitable cause. This tier could have many editions but makes the holder eligible to enter for a chance to win exclusive prizes, unforgettable experiences, and more scarce NFTs.
What is a Gold tier NFT?
This accessible tier features limited editions numbering from thousands to tens of thousands, allowing every day music fans to engage with and own a piece from their favorite artist’s collections. Gold NFTs are available for under $100 and purchasable via credit or debit cards.
What is a Platinum tier NFT?
This limited-edition tier often contains less than 1,000 editions, priced affordably and purchasable via credit or debit cards, and often includes very limited assets and rare content. Select editions may include concert tickets, experiential opportunities and more.
What is a Diamond tier NFT?
This extremely limited tier, often containing 10 or less editions, featuring exclusive content, rare interviews or performances, VIP concert tickets and more. Editions are available for purchase or bidding, depending on the Drop.
What is a SkyLockr tier NFT?
The ultra-rare, bid-only tier contains just 1 edition of an artist’s most exclusive NFT. This tier often includes once-in-a-lifetime experiences with the artist, unreleased music, VIP concert tickets, and more.
Who can participate in the SkyLockr Discord community?
We invite anyone who loves music to join the SkyLockr Discord community for free. In the future, additional “private” channels will be available to users who hold a particular artist’s NFT.

What is a Prepaid Crypto Balance and how do I use it?
Using cryptocurrency to pay for goods and services can take take minutes, or even up to a half hour or more to “settle,” however using SkyLockr’s “Prepaid Crypto Balance” option allows you to make a purchase almost instantly! Think of your “Prepaid Crypto Balance” just like using a traditional gift card to your favorite brand. You can send any amount of supported cryptocurrency from your external exchange accounts or wallets (we support Polygon $MATIC as a default). Your Prepaid Crypto Balance for each currency is recorded, after which you will have the USD equivalent amount to spend on any purchase you’d like on SkyLockr. We are confident you will love your purchase, however if you are not 100% satisfied, you can request a refund of any unused amount available in your Prepaid Crypto Balance at any time! Your refund can take up to 2 business days to process, less any network gas fees and a small bank processing fee, currently 0.2%. To get started, head to the Payment Methods section under the Profile icon on the top right of the site, and select any of the Prepaid Crypto Balance options to begin. Note: the first time you use any of the Prepaid options, you will need to go through a simple identity verification for security purposes.
Do I need my government ID or other photo identification?
You are welcome to purchase or bid for NFTs with a credit or debit card without any additional verification. To access some more advanced features, we are required by law to collect additional information, including government-issued identification, including when you are: 1. Using a Prepaid Crypto Balance 2. Withdrawing your eligible Marketplace Credit USD to a U.S. bank 3. Exporting your NFT to an external wallet Furthermore, additional photo/identity verification is required for requests involving: 1. Changing your whitelisted Prepaid Crypto Balance refund addresses 2. Changing your whitelisted Marketplace Credit withdrawal U.S. bank connection 3. Anything that may be considered a suspicious activity flagged by our payment system We know this may be tedious at times, but it’s for the protection of you and all of our users. Your security, and that of your SkyLockr NFTs, are of the utmost importance to us, and we thank you for your understanding.
Is there a fee for using any of the payment methods?
Yes, some of the available payment options will incur a small fee due to 3rd party processing costs, and will be transparently displayed during the purchase process. Current fees are as follows and are subject to change: 1. Credit Cards: 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction 2. SkyLockr Marketplace Credit: No fee 3. Pay with Coinbase: 1% fee per transaction regardless of cryptocurrency type 4. Prepaid $MATIC Balance: No fee for purchases. Adding to your balance incurs minimal Polygon $MATIC network gas fees, and Prepaid Balance refund requests are subject to a 0.2% bank processing fee. 5. Prepaid BTC Balance: No fee for purchases. Adding to your balance incurs standard Bitcoin network fees, and Prepaid Balance refund requests are subject to a 0.2% bank processing fee. 6. Prepaid ETH or ERC20 Token Balance: No fee for purchase. Adding to your balance incurs standard Ethereum network gas fees. Setting up Prepaid ETH or ERC20 Balances for the first time incurs a one-time, smart-contract deployment gas fee of 89k gas (approximately 0.01 ETH as of September 6, 2021, subject to significant network fluctuations). Prepaid Balance refund requests are subject to a 0.2% bank processing fee.
How do I purchase an NFT with Polygon $MATIC?
$MATIC, is the native cryptocurrency for the blockchain Polygon, where SkyLockr NFTs are minted. Paying with $MATIC for your SkyLockr NFTs is one of the fastest payment methods available. You do not have to create a new Polygon $MATIC wallet; all you need to do is follow these simple steps: 1. If this is your first time paying with $MATIC on SkyLockr, click on the “+” sign next to “Prepaid $MATIC balance” during the purchase process, or click on the “Set Up” button under the “Prepaid $MATIC Balance” card in the “Payment Methods” section under the Profile icon, top right of the site. 2. You will need to complete an identity verification for security purposes prior to your first transaction, after which you will be prompted to provide a valid “Refund Address” in case you change your mind after sending $MATIC to your Prepaid Crypto Balance. 3. Once set up, simply send Tez to your unique SkyLockr Prepaid $MATIC address generated for you, and it should appear in your balance shortly after. You may purchase with $MATIC in your Prepaid Balance immediately. Paying with a Prepaid $MATIC Balance on the SkyLockr platform settles instantly and is completely free (no fees), unlike paying with Credit Cards or Coinbase, which both charge a small processing fee. How do I purchase an NFT with Coinbase?
Coinbase is a major crypto exchange platform making it easy for users worldwide to purchase and hold cryptocurrencies. SkyLockr has partnered with Coinbase to accept crypto payments in Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDC, and more. Whenever you see the “Pay with Coinbase” button, you can pay in two ways: 1. If you already have a Coinbase account, once you’ve selected Coinbase as your payment method, you may continue to the Coinbase check-out screen, where you will see the available cryptocurrency options. Once here, you will once again see “Pay with Coinbase” at the top of your screen. Click here and log into your Coinbase account. Your Coinbase held cryptocurrencies can immediately be used for purchasing an NFT, and purchase confirmation can be as quick as a few seconds.
Can I return an NFT after I purchase it?
Unfortunately not. All sales are final since all NFTs are limited-edition digital goods. You can, however, post your NFT for resale on the SkyLockr Marketplace. Note: If your original purchase method was cryptocurrency, you will be paid out immediately upon resale. If your original payment method was a credit card, there is a 30 day holding period from your original purchase date, before funds may be released.
How do I purchase an NFT with a Credit or Debit Card?
If this is your first time making a purchase, you will be presented with various payment options after you click the “Buy Now” button, including adding a credit or debit card. You may edit or replace your default card at any time. You can also add or replace any credit or debit card directly in the Payment Methods section under the Profile icon at the top right of the site.
I’ve just claimed a Free NFT, where did it go?
Congrats! Free NFTs are fun ways to get familiar with the SkyLockr platform. When you complete the claim process, you will see a pop-up that directs you to view your NFT in “My Collection.” You can also access “My Collection” under the profile icon on the top right of the website. Inside “My Collection” you can see the exact NFT you received, and it may even be a super rare Platinum NFT!
While the NFT is visible to you within “My Collection,” it is held in a “custodial” wallet for you, protected by our custody bank partner, or kept in company “Cold Storage”. Rest assured it is safe and secure. In the near future, you will be able to list your NFT for resale on our Marketplace, or export it to a compatible wallet.
What payment methods can be used to purchase a SkyLockr NFT?
SkyLockr is built for the everyday music fan. Most purchases can be made with a simple credit or debit card, while $Matic and other major cryptocurrencies are supported for purchases and bidding, making SkyLockr the most inclusive NFT platform today.
What credit and debit cards does SkyLockr support?
SkyLockr has a Skype merchant account and will soon support Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Diners Club, plus top international card payment methods in currencies from over 150 countries.
I have a MetaMask wallet, is that compatible with SkyLockr?
SkyLockr is built on Tezos blockchain, which is 2M times more energy-efficient than other Proof-of-Work networks. SkyLockr NFTs are built using the Tezos FA2 token standard. Fortunately, MetaMask does support Polygon MainNet $Matic ERC-30 tokens, and WILL be compatible with SkyLockr NFTs. But if you dont use MetaMask (you should!) -don’t worry, many wallets do support Polygon $Matic ERC-20 (Etherium) token standard. Furthermore, you do not need to have your own crypto wallet to enjoy buying, bidding, and trading your SkyLockr NFTs. See FAQ on “Do I need to know how to open my own crypto wallet”.
Do I need to know how to open my own crypto wallet to use SkyLockr?
No, you don’t! SkyLockr is built for the everyday fan, and no prior crypto or advanced tech knowledge is necessary. Your NFTs are kept safe in a “custodial” wallet for you for as long as you’d like, secured by our custody bank partner, using the FIPS Level 3 certified Hardware Security Modules protection, or kept in “Cold Storage.” You will be able to purchase or bid on new drops, interact with your NFT or vault content, or list your NFTs for resale and trade on the SkyLockr “Marketplace,” all without needing your own crypto wallet! Purchases can be made with credit or debit cards and $Matic, and a variety of other major cryptocurrencies. At the end of the “soft launch” period, approximately 30 days after the end of pre-registration, you will have the option to “export” your NFTs to a compatible wallet that supports the Polygon MainNet ERC-20 (Etherium) token standard.
Is there a SkyLockr Wallet I should download?
No, there is no SkyLockr wallet currently available for download, and please watch out for scams from any company or person that claims to offer anything in our name. The only official information about our offerings are found on SkyLockr.com. Please protect your login info or SMS verification code, as these control your account and your NFTs.

I bought an Artist specific NFT, how do I access the SkyLockr Artist Specific Discord channel?
Congrats! Anyone with an Artist from their first or Genesis Collection will gain access to the SkyLockr Artist specific Discord channel, where you can connect with others fans and win prizes every weekday from the channel opening until the artists Collection II drops.

I bought an NFT, when does NFT “Fusion” start?
All Genesis Collection token owners will be able to fuse their tokens to receive new, more rare tokens in Collection II, which will be announced in the coming months. By owning any combination of 3 tokens from Collection I, you’ll have the option to fuse those tokens and redeem for unique Collection II tokens of a higher rarity or tier. You can also choose to keep your three individual Collection I tokens – the choice is yours!
